Dear customers and business partners

A major strike hit Norway this Monday morning after wage negotiations broke down between Norwegian employers and employees on Sunday. 25.000 people are therefor striking at mostly breweries and ferry routes.

It is the employers' organization NHO on one side and the trade unions LO and YS on the other that have negotiated the employees' wages. Unless a solution to the conflict will be reached in the coming days, a further 15,500 members of LO and 460 members of YS will be selected for strike action on Friday. In that case, the strike from Friday will cover more than 40,000 employees.

If this happens, we might see the local distribution network affected as well as the terminals in Norway. This means that increased transit time might be expected if no agreement is reached during the week.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing our customers, and we hope that the disagreements in Norway will be resolved soon.
