The Chinese National Day is celebrated on Thursday 1 October 2020 to commemorate the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Therefore, the Chinese factories close for the following “Golden Week”, and hence many airline companies, railway operators, and shipping companies choose to cancel most departures during the week and for a shorter period afterward until the production is fully back up and running again.
Book your transport well in advance
To ensure delivery on time, we recommend that you book all shipments from China as early as possible.
