BORDER RENOVATION AFFECTS TRANSIT TIMES

Ongoing renovation of the Kapikule border crossing between Turkey and Bulgaria now has such negative effects on traffic in the area, that transit times can be affected.

There is pressure at all alternative border crossings and queues of 20-30 km on the way out of Turkey.

The renovation work is expected to be completed at the end of the year and unfortunately can cause extended transport time at the border.
